Pastiche distance learning courseware is delivered via the internet and can be undertaken on most computer systems and devices manufactured over the past 3-5 years, in addition to tablets such as iPads and Android tablets. You can even use your large screen Smartphone with the appropriate browser. Our e-learning platform is modern and is usable on a majority of computer and internet platforms, however there are specific plug-ins or browser accessories that you will need to get full access to the materials. Most new computers and devices (2013 onward) already have most of these features installed, however you can check your device’s compatibility here. There are three things to check to enable full utilisation of Pastiche e-Learning: Ability to View and download PDF’s, your browsers ability to play HTML 5 video and having Javascript enabled in your browser. Please note these are the TECHNICAL requisites to undertake the courses, please check the appropriate sections about the courses for any prior learning or additional resource requirements.

Internet Explorer
1. In the Tools drop-down menu, select Internet Options.
2. Next, select the Security tab.
3. Then, select the earth (Internet) icon.
4. Then select the Custom Level button.
5. Locate Scripting near the bottom of the list.
6. Under Active Scripting, select Enable, then hit OK.
7. Answer yes to the following conformation box.
8. Hit OK to close the Internet Options window.
9. Finally, hit refresh on your browser window to use the javascript.
Firefox
1. In the Tools drop-down menu, select Options.
2. Next, select the Content icon/tab at the top on the window.
3. Then, check the Enable JavaScript checkbox under the Web Content category.
4. Hit OK to close the Options window and save your changes.
5. Finally, Refresh your browser.

1. In the Edit drop-down menu at the top of the window, select Preferences
2. Select the Security icon/tab at the top on the window.
3. Then, check the Enable JavaScript checkbox.
4. Close the window to save your changes.
5. Finally, Refresh your browser.

1. In the Tools drop-down menu at the top of the window, select Preferences…
2. Select the Advanced tab at the top on the Preferences window.
3. Find the Content item in the list on the left-side of the window and select it.
4. Then, check the Enable JavaScript checkbox.
5. Click OK to save your changes and close the Preferences window.
6. Finally, Refresh your browser.

1. Select Customize and control Google Chrome (wrench Icon) to the right of the address bar
2. From the drop-down menu, select Options
3. Select the Under the Hood tab at the top of the window
4. Under the Privacy heading, select the Content settings button
5. On the left, under the features heading, select JavaScript
6. Select the Allow all sites to run JavaScript radio button
7. Finally, close both preference windows, and refresh the browser
